Overheard at the Range

“I love my .38 Automatic.” (Bersa .380 semi-automatic pistol).

“Will the laser sight set the target on fire?”

“I wish I could go out there and find my bullets so I can see how the hollowpoints expanded when they hit the target.” (Target was a paper silhouette.)

“Faster is better than accurate”

“Less thinking and more shooting”

“Man, this SKS is accurate.” (They were shooting the carbine at a target a mere 7 yards away.)

“Should we go to the counter and tell them?” (Same shooters after rolling the target down to 25 yards, promptly missing their silhouette and shooting in half the 18 inch thick rubber barrier that protected a concrete pillar.)

Always thought a range should have a short voluntary safety training class for shooters new to the range. Like SASS has for new pards.

NooBs gotta learn somehow.
