New S&W Cylinder Lock-Up

While over at Arnzen Arms this afternoon I was looking over the Smith & Wesson model 69 .44 Magnum.  The model 69 is an "L" frame revolver with a capacity of 5 rounds.  This is certainly a departure to make a smaller .44 Mag as I am unaware of them every making them on anything smaller than their venerable "N" frame.  Also interesting is a new ball detent lockup feature securing the cylinder to the frame.

Very high "coolness" factor in my urban/suburban environment I don't see myself carrying this but would be fun at the range- or maybe home defense?

An "L" frame 44 magnum? Does it come with a free cast?

I think this revolver would make a lot more sense in .44 Special which is probably what most people will shoot at the range and carry in it.
