Let me give you the specifications from their website:
GET THE WORK JEANS THAT STRETCH EVERY WHICH WAY | |
MEN'S FLEX JEANS GIVE YOU STRETCH PLUS A CROTCH GUSSET FOR EASE.
Amazing what a difference just 1% spandex makes – our Flex Ballroom® Jeans stretch every which way for the mobility you need on the job. Midweight 12-oz. denim is prewashed for broken-in comfort, yet extremely durable. Classic 5-pocket styling, with hidden crotch gusset and the same easy fit as our other jeans. Order a pair, then bust a move!
These are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn and are also extremely soft.
From a tactical standpoint the 1% Spandex and the hidden crotch gusset allow for a lot of freedom of movement should you have to kneel, crouch down, get up quickly, or throw a kick to create space before drawing your weapon. These jeans do not inhibit your ability to move around.
Now, back to pocket carry. Instead of being made of very thin fabric, the front pockets are made of very strong fire hose material that the Duluth Trading Company has been using for quite some time to make pants, hats, jackets, briefcases, and even luggage.
This material is stronger and thicker than the material used for most pockets on blue jeans. There are several advantages for us:
1. The strength of the material makes is harder to wear out or poke a hole through.
2. The strength and thickness of the material offers a little more protection from the pistol printing through. It is not "print proof" but it certainly
3. The 12 inch depth of the pocket keeps the grip of your revolver or pistol from being seen at the of the pocket.
I have been buying Duluth Trading Company clothing or several years now and can attest to the fact that they will give you more time of service than other clothing you have purchased. I have some shirts from Duluth that are 5 or more years old.
They have one store in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin now and one opening in the fall in Port Washington, Wisconsin if you are in the neighborhood. Otherwise you can find their website at: http://www.duluthtrading.com/
